Scarlett Fierro

Scarlett is pursuing a Spanish and Political Science degree with a Business Administration minor at the University of Arizona. She has experience working in the San Miguel High School's Corporate Work Study Program, the College of Humanities Student Ambassador Program, and the Consulado de México in Tucson, where she developed strong administrative and community outreach skills.

Scarlett is the daughter of immigrants, which has given her a personal understanding of the challenges and impacts of immigration, driving her passion for gaining a deeper understanding of the social, political, and economic dynamics at the border. She aims to contribute to informed policies and build a network of advocates to support a career in public service.

Scarlett will work as an intern at the Southwest Center during the Spring.
