Events
The Confluencenter works with its scholars, other campus departments and units - along with the greater Tucson community - to produce public events that push disciplinary boundaries and showcase innovative ideas.
Our events feature presentations by UA faculty and graduate students, as well as collaborations with local non-profits, public intellectuals and activists. In September of 2001, the Confluencenter teamed up with Arizona State Museum to bring "World Separated by Borders", a photo exhibit by Alejandra Platt-Torres documenting the Arizona-Sonora border.
