Juan Pablo is passionate about supporting immigrant communities. He is resolved to make a
difference by advocating for marginalized communities and creating welcoming environments
where people feel comfortable expressing their concerns, sharing their experiences, and
working toward their goals.
Through this internship, Juan Pablo hopes to gain the skills and knowledge needed to drive
meaningful change, advocate for immigrant rights, and create spaces where others can find a
sense of belonging. Juan Pablo aims to develop his leadership, communication, and strategic
problem-solving skills and to gain practical experience in advocacy and community engagement.
He plans to use this experience to build a career focused on social justice, policy advocacy, and
community empowerment.
Juan Pablo will work at City of Tucson’s Cultural Affairs Office during the Spring.
