The film documents the origins of Los Changuitos Feos de Tucson, the first youth mariachi group in the nation. It tells the story of a group of kids who grew up in the 1960s in the working-class barrios of Tucson and how they rose to national fame. 🎶
After the film screening, there will be a Q&A panel with Executive Producer and Co-Director David E. Valdez, co-director Enrique Castillo, and former Changuitos Feos member and author Wilfred Arvizu. President and CEO of REA Media Group Raul Aguirre will moderate the panel discussion. ✨
