With over 45 years of experience, Dr. Rodríguez will share his insights on the evolution of Mariachi and its impact on communities on both sides of the US-Mexico border. His work spans across music composition, theater, and cultural preservation. 🎤
Dr. Rodríguez is also a key figure in promoting traditional arts through his contributions to groups like Teatro Campesino and Teatro Vision, as well as his collaborations with Alliance for California Traditional Arts and Smithsonian Folkways Recordings. 🌟
