Alexandra Mora Medina

Alexandra Mora Medina joined the University of Arizona’s Confluencenter in 2023 as the Storytelling Producer for Fronteridades. She is pursuing a master's degree in Bilingual Journalism at the University of Arizona. Alexandra was raised in the west side of Phoenix, Arizona, and her parents are of Mexican descent. 

She graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University in May 2022. Before joining the Confluencenter, Alexandra volunteered and worked at many non-profit organizations that focused on economic justice, environmental conservation, and assisting students to reach higher education goals.

Alexandra is a passionate storyteller. Her focus has been on audio journalism in covering community and environmental issues. She has been published in The Latino Reporter, KJZZ, and Cronkite News. When she is not working you can find her involved in her student community at the University of Arizona or spending quality time with her loved ones.
