Featuring Dr. Alex E. Chávez

Dr. Alex E. Chávez is the Nancy O'Neill Associate Professor of Anthropology at the University of Notre Dame. Join us on Thursday March 28 at 5:30 pm for Dr. Chávez’s Lecture on “El Disco Es Cultura: Sonic Artifacts, Racial Geographies, Latinx Chicago.” Learn more about how discos (records) broadcast in symbolic ways that amplify space in Chicago. This event is free and open to the public.
