Graduate Fellowships

During the current academic year, the Confluencenter will suspend the competition for Graduate Fellowship awards.

The Confluencenter is engaged in a strategic planning process for phase 2 of operations that will commence in the fall of 2018. We will have more information by July 1, 2018.

Confluencenter Graduate Fellowships support individual graduate students from the Colleges of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Behavioral Sciences with creative interdisciplinary research projects. Graduate Fellowships are one-time awards for individual applicants. Applicants should propose activities that can be completed within one academic year. Fellowships are awarded as two separate deposits into student bursar accounts: $2,500 in August, and $2,500 in December. Projects must be finished by July 2018. For application details, click on the "Call for Proposals" link below and visit the "Frequenty Asked Questions" page. The proposal submission deadline is February 17, 2017 at 5 p.m
